HTC have finally unveiled their much hyped-about device, the HTC Desire 10 Pro smartphone earlier today which will be available in Black, White, Navy Blue and Baby Blue coloured variants. The smartphone from HTC is slated to be available from the start of October although the official price of the device has not been disclosed as of yet by the consumer electronics manufacturer.

Hardware and Memory: Powerhouse with 4GB Internal Memory

HTC Desire 10 Pro has a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with 400ppi pixel density and is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, which is clubbed with 4 GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2GB via a microSD card and features HTC BoomSound stereo speakers on the front, which is complemented by Dolby Audio as well.

The HTC Desire 10 Pro runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. It measures 156.50 x 76.00 x 7.86 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 165.00 grams.

Camera Specifications: A 20Mp rear Shooter with Image Stabilisation

The rear-facing camera of the HTC Desire 10 Pro a is a 20MP, f/2.2 model( 27.8mm focal length) that sports, in HTC’s language, “DSLR-like controls”: electronic image stabilisation, high dynamic range (HDR), and laser autofocus. The 13MP on the Pro’s front isn’t quite as impressive but packs in a bright flash and a Selfie Panorama mode that lets you capture an ultra-wide, 150-degree photo.

Battery and Connectivity

The HTC Desire 10 Pro is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

The device houses a 3,000 mAh battery with power saving mode which is said to offer up to 19 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby time on 3G network. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the back.
