HP has started taking orders for the HP Elite x3 in the United Kingdom and has priced their new high-end smart-phone at a price of £706.80(including VAT) with promises that the devices will be expected to be shipped within a period of 5 to 10 business days.
The high-priced handset from Hp promises to be the most exciting smart-phone with Windows 10 Mobile for a while, and will look for further enhancement on availability of Redstone, which will enable to fingerprint reader.
The HP Elite x3 is equipped with a high-performance Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 820 processor chipset that can effortlessly power applications traditionally reserved for PCs, along with premium smartphone features. A 5.96″ diagonal edge-to-edge HD display with the durability of Corning Gorilla Glass is a major plus in terms of overall looks with the smart-phone garnering praise for its clear display and sleek design from various technological concerns. The device has 4 GB LPDDR4-3733 SDRAM, 64 GB eMMC 5.1 storage and also sports a 4150mAh battery, and it also supports wireless charging.
The Elite X3 is HP’s ticket for re-entering the smart-phone market, an area where the company has failed previously. HP’s goal with the Elite x3 is to bridge the gap between PCs and smart-phones. It is providing services so desktop applications can be used on the smart-phone via the cloud.
