‘Housefull 3’ Worldwide Box Office Collection Raises Shares of Eros International

Eros International’s latest blockbuster ‘Housefull 3‘ has done tremendously well at the box office collection worldwide basis. The movie was co-produced and distributed by the same media house which has eventually raised the share prices in recent trade sessions. As of Bombay Stock Exchange Eros stakes closed at Rs. 198 rising upward to 211.50 INR almost with 7% hike in the financial market.

‘Housefull 3’ has been Directed by Sajid-Farhad with a star-studded affair. The cast included Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon, Boman Irani, Jacky Shroff, Nargis Fakhri, among many others. The worldwide box office collection settled down to 100 crores INR in its very first weekend. The latest week’s i.e. Monday and Tuesday box office collection generated revenue of 15 crores INR only in India. In fact, the previous or first-weekend collection in India had a gross income of 75 crores INR.

Eros International risen share stated during BSE filing that popularity of star cast, hilarious dialogues, entertaining plot helped the movie become a blockbuster of 2016. It’s not the only Bollywood film which comes under distribution process, but movies like ‘Dhishoom’ starring John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, etc. will be the part of the journey. It has been slated to release on 29 July 2016.

According to Eros International, the company stated earlier in January it would be releasing 65 films this year in six languages, including R. Balki’s “Ki & Ka” starring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, “Aligarh” and “Do Lafzon Ki Kahani,” besides “Dishoom.”

It came up with the net profit of Rs. 214 crores with Sales of 1,583 crores INR in current FY 2015-16. It also noted a decrease of 13% in net profit whereas increase of 11% in sales as of previous FY 2014-15.
