Nawauddin Siddiqui is playing the role of school teacher named Shyam and Shweta Tripathi is playing a 14 years old school girl. She has already worked in popular film Masaan which was released in 2015. This film is about Nawazuddin, a school teacher in love with a 14 years old school girl, creating a love triangle where the teacher of the school falls in love with his student while another classmate of the girl Kamal has a huge crush on him and that leads to an utter confusion.Nawauddin plays a grey character where he is manipulating the the kid to be intimate and how things change under unusual circumstances is the plot all about.
The movie Haraamkhor has a very different flavour and it is a sweet love story that comes with some consequences. Nawauddin and Masaan famed Shweta Tripathi are just awesome in the film. The story of the movie was told from the point of view of Kamal and his notorious friend Mintu. Mintu’s bizarre suggestion to help Kamal to woo the girl and some scenes of Nawauddin are just hilarious. The cinematography of the movie is just perfect to add to the flavour of the plot. But it is a fact that the movie is not for mass and there is a huge possibility that only a certain section of the audience will love and appreciate it.
The movie is part of the new genre where the plot or the storyline is just so perfect with some award winning acting devoid of any unnecessary glitter and glamour that hover its ethnic style. This one of the best watches for this weekend and those who have already seen Dangal and has no interest in a movie like’ Ok Jaanu’ can go for it, and we can assure you will not be disappointed. We are giving Haramkhor 4 out of 5 and yes it is a must watch for those who prefers quality movies.
In April 2015 a FIR was registered against director Shlok Sharma on a complaint by Balbharati, which is the Maharashtra’s textbook bureau, objecting to striking similarities between its logo and promotion scenes from Haraamkhor.
