It has been more than a couple of weeks that we are into the year 2017 and it is expected that news and updates will keep on coming regarding the upcoming devices from the world of technology. And here we are with the news coming in that Google is all set to launch the first Android Wear 2.0 within few months and the devices will come out on the market with thename of the makers LG on it.
It was reported way in the middle of the year 2016 that Googlewill launch the Android Wear 2.0 but they wiped away all the rumours in last December when they announced that they would launch the technology when the smartwatches featuring the technology would be launched. And the recent leaks have revealed that the launch might take place on February 9, 2017, where the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style would be unveiled.
LG is reportedly the manufacturing partner of the smartwatches that would be featuring the Android Wear 2.0 technology from Google. The LG Watch Sport would come out with a thickness of 14.2 mm while its counterpart would be thinner with 10.8 mm thickness. LG Watch Sport is the flagship device which would have a larger 1.38-inch screen supporting a display resolution of 480 x 480 pixels. The lower end LG Watch Style will sport a display resolution of 360 x 360 pixels on a 1.2-inch display screen. The Watch Sport will sport a 768 MB RAM while its counterpart will sport a 512 MB RAM. A digital crown button bears sheer resemblance with the Apple Watch that enables navigation besides being compatible with the iOS platform. Google Assistant will also feature in the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style.
So it remains to be how it performs once it hits the market on February 9. However, if the smartwatches come out with the reported features it is going give the leading smartwatch making brands a run for their money.
