Good news for Indian folks who has been waiting for Google Chromecast 2. It has finally arrived in the countryalong with the Chromecast Audio devices, priced at Rs 3,399. Last year Chromecast was launched alongside two other devices Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphone. Chromecast 2, like its predecessors enables anyone to convert their ordinary television set into a smart TV. What it does is allows users to stream video to larger screens by using Wi-Fi. The latest Chromecast comes equipped with better hardware as well as the latest Wi-Fi technologies.
The main USP of the new Chromecast 2 has better Wi-Fi connectivity than the older variant. Added to this the dongle doesn’t need the in-built flash storage drive became Google has worked and improved its caching technologies. The new version of Chromecast comes with just 256MB storage compared to the 2GB flash storage of the original Chromecast.

Speaking of the Chromecast Audio, what it does is that it helps smartphone users to stream music to over any wireless speaker via Wi-Fi. The highlight of the device is that it works independently and therefore is able to offer better sharing range compared to other Bluetooth adapters. Such adapters only convert normal wired speakers into Bluetooth speakers.
