Datsun Redi-GO AMT
Datsun Redi GO has been a great contributor as far as the company’s sales are concerned. The ongoing model comes with a five-speed manual transmission, but now the manufacturer plans to launch the AMT (automated manual transmission) version in January 2018. Expectations are that the Datsun Redi-GO AMT will come paired with a 1.0-litre petrol engine, which is capable of developing a maximum power of 67 bhp alongside a peak torque of 91 Nm. Other than the new transmission system, the AMT variant does not get any major upgrade. It is believed that the upcoming vehicle will come in the price bracket of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh.
Lexus LS
Lexus, a luxury brand of Toyota, has confirmed that the company will be launching the LS 500H in the domestic market on 15th January 2018. The sedan car will be powered by a hybrid 3.5-litre V6 engine, which is assisted by two electric motors. With such a powerful combination, the car will produce a combined output of 354 bhp. Also, the motor is mated to a 10-speed transmission system that is enough to scale up to the speed up to 100 kmph in just 5.2 seconds. The luxury car is expected to come with loads of advanced features and will be priced around Rs 1.5 crore. Considering all the features and price range, the luxurious sedan will compete with the likes of BMW 750Li M Sport and Maybach S500 in India.
Audi Q5
The very popular Audi is back in the business with the launch of new Q5, which is likely to happen on 18th January 2018. The manufacturer has claimed that the facelifted version is lighter by 100 kg and will get all the modern features. The new Audi Q5 will get a new grille at the front alongside Matrix LED headlights and Led tail lamps. As far as the performance is concerned, it will be taken care by a 2.0-litre Quattro Ultra TDI diesel motor producing 163 bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque. The automaker might also offer a petrol version, which will be powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol unit developing a power of 252 bhp.
Range Rover Velar
Jaguar Land Rover is all set to start its new year with an all-new product named as Velar. The upcoming car will come in two diesel and one petrol engine options. All the variants will come mated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and the power will be transferred to all the four wheels. As the company says, the Range Rover Velar will get all the safety, infotainment and comfort feature making it one of the best in its segment.
Lamborghini Urus
Lamborghini is gearing up for the launch of URUS SUV in the Indian market which is scheduled to take place on 11th January 2018. It is believed that the URUS will bring a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that will develop a maximum power of 621 bhp and churn out 850 Nm of torque. The performance car will offer a premium feel while sitting inside it as the company offers an electrically adjustable leather seats and an advanced climate control along with the other features that are found in other cars in the segment.
