FIFA 17 is finally here and today is the day FIFA fans and enthusiasts alike have been waiting for eagerly since the release of the much awaited FIFA Teasers and trailer. Though a lot of people could not play the demo version of the game post it’s launch earlier this year. The latest version of FIFA promises a whole new level of graphics and gameplay fro EA’s most famous venture ever with the incorporation of the latest Frostbite engine in FIFA 17.

Highlight features of Fifa 17 include Journey Mode and the ability to better control shots. The Journey is in addition to Ultimate Team. Much similar to the gameplay seen in EA Sport’s other ventures like NBA 2K and MLB, The Journey lets you play as Alex Hunter starting at tryouts and working your way through to your Premier League debut. The main characters in The Journey are all played by motion-captured actors and you can choose different conversation options to influence Hunter’s personality.

Also in terms of gameplay tweaks, during standard gameplay, players can also shield defenders from the ball, for example, and this allows for more physical movement and action on the pitch. The FIFA Ultimate team has also been tweaked a bit this time and it lets gamers buy packs of players and trade them to create their ultimate team and Fifa 17’s UT adds new features, such as weekly league tournaments, and new ways to build team chemistry. Ahead of Fifa 17’s game’s release, EA Sports launched the Fifa Ulitmate Team web app last week. This lets players begin putting together their teams online ahead of the game’s release but this is only open to people who have a separate EA Sports account, in addition to a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live account.

Fifa 17 goes on sale in North America today on Xbox One and PS4 and is available from from $59.99. Prime customers can get a discount of 20 per cent.
