The Ferrari GTC4Lusso is expected to launch in India in 2017. The new four-seat Grand Tourer is a successor to the Ferrari FF,whose FF suffix stands for Ferrari Four as it has four seats and boasts of a four-wheel drive. The Ferrari FF was the first production four-wheel drive model commercially launched by the Italian icon. The Ferrari GTC4Lusso was first unveiled at the 2016Geneva Motor Show.
Ferrari GTC4Lusso Specs and Features
The Ferrari GTC4Lusso boasts of the same 6.2-litre V12 engine that also powered its predecessor, the Ferrari FF. Some nip-tuck has been performed on the engine, however, raising its specs impressively. The maximum power stands now at 690PS along with 697Nm of peak torque, as reported by Ferrari in a press release mentioned here. This means a0-100kmph time of a mere 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 335kmph.The four-seater Ferrari retains the all-wheel drive setup and borrows the newly-patentedFerrari 4RM-S (four-wheel drive and steering) from its cousin, the FerrariF12tdf.The 4RM-S system works in tandem with Slip Side Control 4.0, another newly-patented Ferrari innovation for better and safer road grip while integrating the electronic differential and adaptive dampers to keep this horse prancing on regardless of the surface it is driven on.

The Ferrari GTC4Lusso looks splendid. Ferrari Design has taken steps to ensure that the GTC4Lusso is a further refinement of the shooting brake coup while retaining a streamlined and tapering design, reinterpreting and refining the vehicle. Changes have been made on the styling and the front-end of the car. The curving roof has been lowered to ensure better space and extended comfort for passengers. Ferrari’s signature twin rear lights adorn the tail. The muscular nature of the car isemphasised when viewed from the sides as well.
A Dual Cockpit architecture is noticed on the GTC4Lusso. Special emphasis has been laid on the interior styling of the car to make every ride seem special. Wraparound seats guarantee all four occupants receive exceptional comfort and room creating essentially a living room and not merely a car.The GTC4Lusso also debuts the new Infotainment platform featuring a 10.25″ HD screen with capacitive touch technology. The new steering wheel is more compact thanks to a smaller airbag and the integrated controls are very ergonomic. The interiors are essentially devoid of physical buttons with the screen serving as the only user interface in many instances. The Ferrari GTC4Lusso is coming to India in 2017 and is expected to be priced around or lower than Rs. 5 crores. The car was first seen at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show and had wowed everyone then.
