Fast and Furious 8: No one can imagine a Fast and Furious film without Brian O’Conner, and that’s why even the death of Paul Walker was not enough to separate that character from the seventh instalment of the movie. The makers used CGI technology along with the assistance of Paul’s brothers Cody and Caleb to create the persona of Brian O’Conner in that film. However, it seems like the Fast and Furious 8 will bid adieu the beloved Brian O’Conner character once and for all. Instead, they will introduce a new character as his brother in the film to carry forward the story.
Paul Walker was an integral part of this series, and his immense contribution and utmost dedication helped the franchise to grow rapidly over the years. But the sudden death of the actor in a car accident three years back shocked the entire world. Paul was yet to complete his scenes for Fast and Furious 7, and it was impossible to release the film without him. As a solution, the makers used Paul’s own siblings and advanced CGI technology to complete those scenes. It was a stellar success, and the Fast and Furious 7 is still one of the best earners among the Hollywood movies in terms of worldwide box office collection.
Fast and Furious 8 will be having lots of twists and turns, and Vin Diesel will once again remain as the centre attraction of the movie. The producers of the film have officially confirmed that they have roped in actors like Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood to introduce new and exciting characters in the eighth instalment of the Fast and Furious series. Reportedly the director F. Gary Gray may introduce Scott Eastwood as the brother of Brian O’Conner. The film is already slated for a global release in April 2017.
This news of not having Brian O’Conner in the Fast and Furious 8 project will disappoint its fans for sure. The soul-to-soul connection between Paul Walker and FF series fans are here to stay for a lifetime for sure. It is quite evident that we will miss Paul Walker aka Brian in this upcoming Fast and Furious series movie.
