
Farhan Akhtar is known as one of the multi-talented actors of the Bollywood industry due to his, acting, directing, singing and writing prowess. The 42-year-old actor has acquired immense recognition due to his commendable works and now he thinks that his acting profession has a shelf life.
According to a report by PTI, Farhan mentioned about not being able to portray the characters for a longer time period by saying “I feel things like these (acting career) also have a shelf life, I can only play those characters for that long. However, I feel there is no need to rock the boat at the moment.” Farhan also added that it’s not about being comfortable as he is enjoying the work he is doing. And its is as enjoyable as doing something wholeheartedly. He is also optimistic about the fact that good roles are ahead of him and is happy to be a part of the films which has been offered to him.
Farhan left everyone in awe with his directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 which gained a lot of positive responses due to the delivery of its plot line with extreme excellence. And it is an absolute treat to the eyes for all the Bollywood buffs. Farhan directed two more breathtaking films After Dil Chahta Hai. Lakshya in 2004 and Don in 2006. And both the films left no stone unturned become Bollywood blockbusters.
The phenomenal actor started his acting career in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor’s Rock On in 2008 starring along with Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai and Koel Purie. And now he will be seen in the sequel of the movie Rock On 2 which hits the silver screens on November 11.
Nevertheless, other than the original star cast Shujaat Saudagar‘s Rock On 2 will be starring Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora as well.
The curiosity buds of the viewers were tickled ever since the first look of Rock 2 had come out and now they are anxiously waiting to witness the happenings of the musical drama film on the silver screens. Farhan has acquired quite a name in the industry as well as among his fans due to his immense presence on the celluloid and Rock On 2 will sure add more admirers to his already existing fan list.
Farhan is also known for supporting women rights as he is the founder of a social campaign MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination). And the campaign has influenced innumerable people for the betterment of the country.
