All India Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee has slapped afine ofRs 4,40,00($6,537) on Indian Super League side FC Goafor two separate incidents of team misconduct while its two players were suspended for two matches each for “offensive behaviour”.
Luciano Sabrosa and Rafael Dumas of Fc Goa were found guilty of inappropriatebehaviourTowards Match Officials” under the AIFF Disciplinary Code Article 58 for aggressive attitude towards match referee during the team’s league fixture against Sachin Tendulkar’s Kerala Blasterson 8 November in Kochi.Goa conceded a last-gasp goal to lose the match 1-2 after going down to nine men in the second half.
“AIFF Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned a two match suspension with immediate effect to FC Goa players Luciano Sabrosa (Jersey No 4) and Rafael Dumas (Jersey No 5) for the Hero Indian Super League 2016.Both Luciano and Rafael will not be available for selection in Friday’s (11 November) game (Match No 36) against NorthEast United and the following 16th November game (Match No 40) against Mumbai City FC, to be played at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, Goa.Additionally the Disciplinary Committee have fined FC Goa Rs 2,40,000 (Two Lac and Forty Thousand INR) Rs 2,00,000 (Two Lac INR) for two separate incidents of ‘team misconduct’ under Article 53 ‘A’ and 53 ‘B’ of the AIFF Disciplinary Code.”

All of this has dealt another major blow to Goa’s title hopes as Zico’s side are currently sitting at the bottom of the ISL standingswith only seven points after nine matches played.
