Beauty and the Beast: We haven’t heard much about the Disney film since the first teaser came out five months ago. While Emma has been busy with her HeForShe campaign and Our Shared Self book club, fans have been patiently waiting for new updates on the film. Looks like their prayers have finally been answered. EW has published some exclusive pictures from the Beauty and the Beasts, along with a magical cover that they have designed for their Weekly issue.

In an exclusively interview with Entertainment Weekly, former Harry Potter star Emma Watson revealed she is a big fan of the 1991 Beauty and the Beast animated film that went on to be the third-highest-grossing film of 1991 and the first animated feature to be nominated for a best picture Oscar. “I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart,” Emma said.
Emma Watson plays Belle and Dan Stevens (best known for his role in Downton Abbey) as the Beast. The film also stars, Luke Evans as Gaston, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere and Emma Thompson as Mrs Potts. Josh Gad, Stanley Tucci, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Kevin Kline and Audra McDonald also star.
Beauty and the Beast will hit the theatres on March 17, 2017.
