Elementary Season 5 Episode 11 titled ‘Be My Guest’ official synopsis reads
“Holmes and Watson race to find a woman who’s been held captive for years before the kidnapper takes drastic steps to avoid being caught. Also, Watson becomes frustrated when Shinwell refuses to focus on his informant training with her and Holmes.”
The previous episode, titled “Pick Your Poison,” showed that Holmes was angry when he was made aware that Shinwell was still entering his former gang as a secret informant for the authorities, to make amends for his crimes. Joan argued that Shinwell was close to fulfilling his mission of destroying his old gang. He even risked his life to return. Shinwell was aware of the repercussions once the others learned that he was a spy. Joan believed they should let him do things his way.
According to CarterMatt, Holmes and Watson will track down a dreaded criminal who has allegedly been keeping a woman captive for many years. Now that his crime is on the brink of being exposed, the culprit will do his best to avoid capture while Sherlock and Joan must hurry before he disappears again. They must be careful, as they may not find the woman alive.
