Dhoom 4

One of the most celebrated stars of B-Town, Abhishek Bachchan confirmed that Dhoom 4 was not in the making, as the leading cast who were approached had turned down the project for several reasons.

Abhishek being the main source attached to the action-drama franchise made a full stop to the frequently asked query. He essayed the role of ACP Jai Dixit in all the three parts along with his assistant Ali played by Uday Chopra. However, sources reveal that YRF productions demanded a change in the lead cast where the character of ACP and Ali was under changes.

Salman Khan, who is currently busy with his upcoming project Tubelight got approached for the antagonist’s character but he turned it down as he did not want to play a negative role on screen. Later, it was offered to Shahrukh Khan, but it was soon declined thus giving the reason for playing the same old character from where he started.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh was approached for ACPs role, but he too turned it down as he is busy with his upcoming project under Bhansali Productions. So, when all the lead actors have denied all their roles, it is quite relevant that Dhoom 4 might be under wraps. Such similar news was confirmed by Abhishek Bachchan when he was asked about the status of his hit franchise.

On the professional front, Abhishek is not a part of his any hit franchise, be it Dhoom or Sarkar. He even opted out of Hera Pheri 3 hence confirming that currently, he has nil projects in hand eventually Housefull 3 being his last hit project. Apart from this, he recently launched the latest range of Omega Watches thus being favourably busy with his business.

However, no such developments have taken place on YRFs side as Dhoom 4 have shelved for next two years with no such casting team along with supporting cast in hands.
