Dhanush May Seen in Mani Ratnam’s Hindi Remake

Bollywood is going to see Dhanush again, for the second time! Yes if the current rumours to taken into account the ‘Ranjhna’ will be seen in the Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam’s movie that was originally planned with Vicky Kaushal and Harshvardhan Rane. According to the news, the ‘Massan’ star Vicky Kaushal will be busy for the period of August to October when the shooting of this movie will be on the floor. So now Dhanush will be replacing Vicky to play the role that Karthik, from the original movie. This will also be the second release of Harshvardhan Rane, who will be playing Prabhu’s role. Mani Ratnam received the Filmfare award of the Best Tamil Film for the movie.

Dhanush is one of the biggest names of South Indian Cinema, and his talent is not limited only in acting, as he is a great singer also. His ‘Kolaveri Di’ song was a huge hit and made several records. Currently awaiting the audio launch of the upcoming Telugu film ‘Thikka,’ the star still has not has confirmed the Mani Ratnam project.

Dhanush’s last Bollywood release ‘Ranjhna’ was both critical and commercial success. He played the role of a happy go lucky Hindu boy of Banaras, who fell in love with a Muslim girl (Sonam Kapoor) from his neighbour. He mesmerises the audiences with his excellent acting. But he did not take any other projects in recent past. So the possibility of him taking another project is a news to rejoice for his non-Tamil fans.
