Now the news that can startle you is she is going to make her Bollywood with the movie called ‘Love Sonia’. The movie is a young girl’s journey through the world of international sex trafficking. The best part of the movie is it is a woman-centric movie. Directed by Tabrez Noorani who was associated with projects like ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ and ‘Life of Pi’. The director had waited 12 years to make this film, so we can just expect the level of intensity and commitment to this project. Tabrez has researched extensively for the movie, visited brothels and even rescued sex workers in the process with the help of NGOs.
Demi Moore will be playing the role of a reformist who helps in rescuing victims of human trafficking. Noorani said that Demi had been involved in campaigns against human trafficking. She loved the script and so it was not at all difficult to make her interested into the script. Moore has her own non-profit organisation called Thorn that helps such victims.
Apart from Demi Moore, the movie has a great star cast that includes Mark Duplass, Freida Pinto, Aarti Mann, Anupam Kher, Zoran Korach, Luna Rioumina, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkummar Rao. Tabrez Noorani could not stop praising the Indian actors especially Manoj Bajpayee for his level of commitment.
