Cricket All Stars Series 2017

New players like Brendon McCullum and Kevin Pietersen are set to join the Cricket All Star League 2017

And it is not far that we can expect to see them once again. Last year it was a clean sweep for Warne’s Warriors as Sachin Tendulkar’s Blasters team failed to make their mark in the three-legged tie. However, the more important thing about that three-match tournament was the popularity that it got in the United States of America. Sachin and Warne’s aim purpose was more than fulfilled as a result of that. The three matches were held across three cities in the USA, the first one taking place in New York, the second one at Houston and the final game at Los Angeles. In the three games, Warne’s Warriors dominated completely much to the dismay of the fans from the subcontinent as Sachin’s Blasters failed to perform up to their potential. Kumar Sangakkara scored the most number of runs, 153 to be precise and Andrew Symonds picked up 8 wickets which is the highest among all the players.

With all the speculations up in the air that the Cricket All Star League is all set to make a comeback in 2017, new additions to the list of players participating there are quite imminent. It was way back in January 2016 that Brad Hodge expressed his wishes to join the league. And the latest updates report that Brendon McCullum and Kevin Pietersen might also bejoining the other greats to compete in this tournament. Both McCullum and Pietersen are not playing any sort of cricket at the moment, so it is quite natural that they would be joining the likes of Michael Vaughan, Kumar Sangakkara, Wasim Akram, Sourav Ganguly and many others to participate in the league. Also, reports have come in that Australian pace ace Mitchell Johnson will also be joining them.

As it stands now, it is going to be yet another exciting edition of the Cricket All Stars League with new players joining the roster. The Cricket All Stars League 2017 might be held somewhere else, and that might not be in any of the cities of the USA.

The matches in the Cricket All Stars League 2017 will be telecasted live in India on Star Sports 2, in the UK on Sky Sports 3 and in the USA on ESPN3. It seems that things are already getting interesting as the world of cricket braces to see the old war horses renewing their rivalry once again. Being a cricket fan, one just cannot afford to miss out on this opportunity to see the legends in action for one more time.
