It seems the wait is finally over as the Crash Bandicoot remastered games release date is not very far. The launch date of “Crash Bandicoot” remastered games has been leaked on the internet recently and if we believe the Brazilian retailer website Zilliongames, this famous video game franchise is all set to make a comeback on 28th February 2017 along with supposed box art of the game.

Crash Bandicoot is a popular video game franchise and was created by Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin during their tenure at Naughty Dog for Sony Computer Entertainment. Since then, this famous gaming series with the total of eighteen games has made an appearance on various platforms and shipped more than 50 million copies worldwide. But after the launch of the last and final Crash title ”Crash: Mind over Mutant” in 2008, the makers have not released any new version of this gaming franchise, and now the fans are eagerly waiting for the Crash Bandicoot remastered versions to be launched.

Although Sony has not revealed the release date of Crash Bandicoot remastered versions, they have promised that they are working on three remastered titles of the previous three PlayStation supported Crash games developed by Naughty Dog. These three games are titled as “Crash Bandicoot”, “Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back” and “Crash Bandicoot: Warped”.

Further, the Europe head of PlayStation has also stated that Sony and Activision, who currently holds the licensing rights to the “Crash Bandicoot” series, would continue to tease fans on the future of Crash. Crash Bandicoot made a comeback as a playable character in the “Skylanders: Imaginators” game when it was released back in October this year and the animated version of Crash talks in an Australian accent.

Also, the rumours are also suggesting that a new “Crash Bandicoot” game will come with the upcoming PS4 and the famous video game franchise could make a surprise appearance during this year’s PlayStation Experience event. As expected, Sony again has not spilt the bean about the PSX 2016 event, but the fans are immensely excited about the possibility of a new “Crash Bandicoot” could be seen on the PS4 after his brief appearance in the “Skylanders: Imaginators”.
