Coolpad to Launch New Smartphone in India With 5000mAh Battery on September 23

Coolpad is all set launch a brand new smartphone in the country. The company has sent out media invites regarding the launch and itsscheduled for September 23. Besides mentioningthe date, the invite reads ‘Beast Among The Best’. We are expecting anew device under the Note series. Although Coolpad has been teasing about the device but they are pretty tight-lipped regarding its features.

The term Beast can either be termed in reference to high-end CPU or higher RAM or a bigger battery.Based on a poll on Coolpad’s forums, the handset is likely to pack 4GB of RAM.

To recall,Note 3 smartphone was launched last year, at a cost ofRs. 8,999. Following which the company launchedthe Note 3 Lite and Note 3 Plus devices. Addressing to fans on Facebook, Coolpad publisheda note saying:With the magnificent response to our Coolpad Note series, we were further inspired to develop more top of the line gadgets. Last month, Coolpad launched its selfie-focused smartphone Mega 2.5D in India at Rs 6,999. The device is available exclusively on Amazon. Itsports a 5.5-inch IPS HD (1280720 pixels) display with a pixel density of 294ppi and a 2.5D curved glass on top. The handset features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, along with some selfie customization, beautification features and also an automatic age detector. It has an 8-megapixel rear snapper with autofocus and a sensor from Sony. The device is powered by a 1GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735P with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It’s backed by a2,500 mAh battery.
