Conviction Season 2: Developed by Liz Friedlander and Liz Friedman ABC’s legal drama tv series starring Hayley Atwell in the key role which made its grand premiere on October 3 seems like could not make the viewers intrigued towards the series with the delivery of its plotline. However, the promo of Conviction looked quite promising, but it failed to deliver the same amount of potency after the premiere of its first season. And now the question arises whether the makers of the show would come up with Conviction season 2 or not due to the tremendous low ratings acquired by the series. This also indicates that Hayley Atwell once again could not impress the audiences with the delivery of the exact requirement of the plotline. Even the television series Agent Carter which starred Hayley could not create wonders for the viewers and unfortunately got cancelled by ABC on May 12, 2016, after the delivery of its second season.
The plotline of Conviction revolves around the character of Hayes Morrison which is portrayed by Hayley Atwell who is the daughter of the former President of the US. Hayes is forcefully asked to deal with the Conviction Integrity Unit of New York City where she handles cases along with her team which are related to people who are wrongly accused and are convicted. However, if the cancellation of Conviction season 2 gets confirmed then it might disappoint the viewers who quite enjoyed watching the plotline. Amid all the negative responses there are few fans who have shown a positive response towards the series as well. They have quite appreciated the character of Hayes Morrison as a talented attorney. And even the depiction of the plotline was appreciated by them as it could portray the exact happenings of the scenarios with perfection.
Nevertheless, an innumerable number of American television series are coming up and many have already started ruling the celluloid. Therefore, the competition between each one of them is escalating at an extensive rate with every passing day. And the popularity of the series depends on how intriguing the plotlines are for which the viewers get hooked on to it, and most importantly the ratings acquired by the series due to the positive responses.
However, the news of the cancellation of Conviction season has not yet been officially confirmed, so let’s not get into any conclusion now.
The legal drama series also stars actors such as Eddie Cahill, Emily Kinney, Shawn Ashmore and Merrin Dungey in the key roles.
