A big news for South Indian movie fans! Chiranjeevi, the South Sensation is coming back to the silver screen after eight years. ‘Kathilantodu’ is Chiranjeevi’s came back Telegu action drama. But the biggest hurdle, the makers of the movie are facing currently is the casting problem, mostly to find the actress opposite the lead, Chiranjeevi. Now though the movie has some known female actors like Rambha and Gouthami, the makers are still looking for a well-known star to suit the status of him.
Many actresses from Bollywood have been approached for the movie, the names are Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra and Nargis Fakhri. But all of them had to reject it due to date issues. Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty was also asked for it but she too is unavailable.
The movie is the remake of Vijay’s ‘Kaththi‘ has already started shooting with the male lead. This movie is going to be 150th full-length movie of Chiranjeevi, which is itself a matter of celebration. The subject of ‘Kathilantodu’ has the very strong and moving topic of the recent issue with the farmers’ suicide in India. No doubt the subject is bound to move the audience. Chiranjeevi is an immensely talented personality who has his hold in dancing, producing, singing and voice artistry. He is also a politician, businessman, investor and a member of the Indian National Congress. He is one of the biggest social workers of South India. he had founded the ‘Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust’ (CCT) that also includes Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Banks. It is very honouring to say that this is the largest recipient of blood and eye donations of Andhra Pradesh.
