Is it going to be Alvaro Morata, Romelu Lukaku or Alexis Sanchez? Well, only time will tell. But before that, we take a look at the possibilities of the players coming to Stamford Bridge after the end of the 2016-17 season.
Alexis Sanchez seems to be the one who is leading the race for a place on the roster of The Blues. Things are not well between Alexis Sanchez and Arsenal, and a move away from The Gunners’ camp is inevitable. In this current scenario, a number of clubs are interested in securing the services of Alexis Sanchez. Bayern Munich is one of those with Arturo Vidal playing for the German champions and Carlo Ancelotti showing interest in the player, chances are there that he might move to Germany post this season.
However, things are bound to take a turn after what Alexis Sanchez said recently. He has been quoted saying that he wants to stay in London, but play for “a team which is winning things”. It can be estimated that Alexis is perhaps talking about a move to Chelsea. But it remains to be seen whether Chelsea will be eager to bring in the Chilean to Stamford Bridge. And this is where other options for Chelsea might be important.
Chelsea is also linked with a move for Alvaro Morata who has been in the Real Madrid team for quite a long time now but has been short of first eleven starts. This has somewhat prompted him to look for a different club and Chelsea seems to be one of the options. With talks going on that Real Madrid is very much interested in bringing Thibaut Courtois, Alvaro Morata could be offered as a part of the deal. So in case, Chelsea agrees with Real for a deal that will bring Morata to England, chances of Chelsea going for Alexis Sanchez might get reduced in the end.
Now, this plot has received a new twist amidst news that Chelsea is also keeping an eye on the developments surrounding Romelu Lukaku. Chelsea has been interested in bringing in the Belgian for a long time. And it remains to be seen what eventually happens because there are a number of other English clubs who are in pursuit of Lukaku as well. Manchester United is one of those. And also not to forget, Chelsea is also on the hunt for Tiemoue Bakayoko which we have reported a few days back.
However, with still a long time to go before the end of the season and the transfer window to reopen, we are set for an exciting episode of player hunting. And to get all the latest updates, do not forget to make a comeback here.
