The ray of hope has not been extinguishedfor the Bollywood industry as the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) will finally release the censor certification of films online from January 2017. The confirmation of news has made the Hindi film industry finally sigh, as its was highly awaited since a long time. However, according to a report by DNA, the chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification Pahlaj Nihalani said that they were working on the process of online certification since last year, and the work is now on a war footing. He also added that they are ready to go online right from January 2017.

Nihalani further added that they have already excluded the chances of triggering corruption, and the middlemen, as well as others, offering to acquire censor certification out of queue are not a part of the censorship system, at least in the Mumbai office.

The introduction of the online censor certification will benefit in many ways, as it will eliminate corruption in a larger scale and the clearance process of the films will get much convenient as well. However, online censor certification is an endeavour of making the film prints which are to be certified available online.

A lot of hindrances will be discarded with the introduction of the online censor certification as it would benefit the people from the industry on a larger scale. Even a movie getting a clearance via dishonest means would be excluded. These days an innumerable number of corruptions are being associated with a film which hampers the makers of the movie immensely. Therefore theintroduction of the online censor certificate was very much needed.

Nevertheless, the new year will start on a good note for all the people belonging from the industry as well as the members of the Central Board of Film Certification.
