“Because every butler has an opening.” It’s about bloody time.
Alfred Pennyworth, the obedient butler to Bruce Wayne’s and Batman’s right arm, at last, gets his own backstory thanks to Funny or Die and it’s a doozy.
In the two-minute video which was made, Alfred: Before Batman, announced over the weekend, the spectators discovers Alfred’s life very much reflects or you can say actually serves as a mirror to that of Oliver Twist because, well, his babyhood is recording from the 2005 version of Oliver Twist. So it definitely gives the same reflection.
“Because every butler has an opening,” reads one of the cards merged amongst the footage from Oliver Twist and Christoper Nolan’s Batman series, in which Michael Caine played the role of Alfred. The violin music playing during the course of it on the sets is the perfect dreary mood for the parody. The music sets the people in a great mood and serves as a great attraction to capture attention of people.
Jeremy Irons is the modern actor to portray Alfred; other actors comprises of Michael Gough in the ’90s Batman films and Alan Napier in the ’60s television show starring Adam West.
