Bajaj Auto has declared that it will launch it’s all new 400cc motorcycle, the Bajaj Dominor 400 at the end of this year. The production for the new bike has already started. Dominar will focus only on premium and more powerful motorcycles of the manufacturer. The Bajaj Dominor 400 which was earlier showcased as the Pulsar CS400 at the 2017 Auto Expo, was earlier named as the Kratos VS400 which had to be changed as a result of copyright issues.
Bajaj Dominar 400 (Kratos VS400) Engine
The Bajaj Dominor is powered by a 400cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple-spark, single-cylinder, fuel injected engine that is capable of pumping in a power of 40bhp and 30Nm of peak torque mated to a 6-speed transmission. The 34.5 BHP of power and will come with ABS as an option, if not as standard.

The features’ list on the Dominor 400 include LED headlights, dual instrument cluster, optional ABS, LED taillights, split seats, front telescopic suspension and a rear mono-shock. Dominor 400 is expected to be priced in the range of INR 1.5 lakh to INR 1.6 lakh.
The makers added, “The new big bike model, which is scheduled to be launched around mid-December 2016, is also expected to dominate Indian roads in this segment for the coming decade.” Bajaj Auto has considered on the production of its biggest and most powerful 400cc bike. The first batch of the bike was almost on its concluding part at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant. The best part of this new venture is that this came out of an assembly line that is managed only by women engineers. This is a milestone event for Bajaj Auto as a manufacturer embracing the best technology as well an organization committed to gender diversity.
