The magnum opus has always been a piece of curiosity, but this time the makers were in the news for entirely different reasons, and that is, Baahubali production unit’s houses and offices have been raided by Income Tax (IT) department. Shocking! But true. The makers were in shock when few IT personnel razed down their entire house and office, side by side, so as to check over the black money or the deposited money, if any, in personal premises. The entire story developed only when PM Modi announced regarding the dis-owning of black money and showcasing their undeposited money to the respective departments. Utterly unknown to the fact whether Baahubali team have filed their income tax or not, the department raided the houses and offices of the production unit of Baahubali. Well, few reliable sources have been buzzing in and around that the open revelations of the cost of the budget along with marketing budget, earning in satellite rights, and so on gave a huge clue of possession of forged money with the production unit. In fact, the movie Baahubali: The Beginning became a massive hit despite it was made under a budget of Rs. 150 crores. But it earned a lot more than expected which went on to become almost 600 to 700 crores INR. Now with Baahubali: The Conclusion in the making, the production unit of Hyderabad, have invested as much as Rs. 250 crores for the productions. Apart from this, they have already shelled out Rs. 300 to Rs. 400 crores on marketing along with pre-production releases. The campaigning it’s been doing for Baahubali 2 is simply mind blowing and amazing thus giving massive hints of being a record-breaking blockbuster to the trade pundits and market tenders. Well, this might be an enough hint for the administrative officials to sneak peek which led to the raids. As of now, minimal developments have come from the departments’ side. But the IT raid on Baahubali production unit’s is severely shocking as it is seldom that a big banner comes under some harsh scanner and with Income Tax raid, it might lose a pretty good amount of goodwill, asset, and so on. In work front, Baahubali: The Conclusion, directed by SS Rajamouli which is being Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni, Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao under the banner of Dharma Productions and Arka Media Works is all set to hit the silver screen on April 28, 2017. The movie possesses a team of the brilliant cast like Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamanna, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj among others.
