One of the most awaited movies of 2016, Avengers: Infinity War is being kept tightly under wraps. But a recent casting call has revealed the film will feature a new alien race. Nothing much is known about the aliens, so we are left wondering if they’ll be the opposing the Avengers or partnering with them. For the casting of the aliens, slim people were called and were told that they’ll have to be between 18-50 years age bracket, willing to have their faces and bodies painted and also willing to wear prosthetics.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released on May 4, 2018 in the US

Avengers: Infinity War will begin shooting from April this year and more and more casting calls for extras, body-doubles, stand-ins are being called by the Marvel studio. Recently, a list of actors starring in the film came out. Among them, Tom Holland who plays the young Spiderman is missing. Tom has a stand-alone film “Spiderman: Homecoming” coming up and perhaps he is too young to be part of Avengers: Infinity War.

The last Avenger film,  “Age of Ultron” came out in the year 2015, and was universally hailed as one of the best Avenger films ever. It received positive reviews from both critic and fans, grossing some over $1.4 billion worldwide. It’s the seventh highest grossing film in history and the fourth highest grossing film of the year. The film was even shortlisted for potential nominees for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects at the 88th Academy Awards by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences but ultimately was not nominated for the award.

Marvel’s next Avengers movie will be divided into two parts with the first one being the “Avengers: Infinity War” and the second one is only half titled as “Untitled Avengers”. The former film will release in the US on May 4, 2018 while the latter one, exactly a year later, on May 3, 2019.
