An autorickshaw hailing firm, Jugnoo Inc. has been a famous name since its launch in the rental auto segment and now with stepping into Food delivery section via local food joints as well as restaurants, the respective firm seems to explore and expand itself like never before. The firm happens to be in quite a demand as the rickshaw aggregator and delivery business boomed up soon as it stepped into the sector making itself a huge name in the startup market. Now, with ‘Menus’, it’s planning to conquer the world of food delivery business too amid hundreds of existing competitors.
Delivering food at alimited distance, the firm plans to pick up orders given to nearby restaurants and local food joints thus delivering food items door-to-door. Initially, it had launched a food delivery space named ‘Fatafat’ service in August last year, but could not breathe at such pace. It used to pickup meal and tiffin service (somewhat similar to Mumbai’s Dabbawalas’), from undisclosed brands and sources. The services were provided in Delhi, NCR, Chandigarh, Bangalore, etc.
With the launch of new service Menus, Jugnoowill aggregate restaurants and outlets including Burger King, Pizza Hut, Subway, Baskin Robins, Super Donut, Burger point, Rolla Costa, Copper Chimney, Marky Momos, Dhaba.com among others. Moreover, the items or orders will be delivered with the help of existing networks of Jugnoo’s autorickshaw drivers chain which has formed with time and trust. The firm’s sole motto is to deliver food items in a quick and convenient manner.
Currently geared up to start operations in Noida, Gurugram, Indore, Chandigarh and Jaipur, after series of funding months before, Jugnoo plans to launch Menus across all Jugnoo locations in India in coming few months. Also, it further aims to reach 1000 restaurants in a month.Apart from food-delivery, Jugnoo also provides grocery delivery service called “Grocery” in October last year which is currently live in Chandigarh through tie-ups with local wholesalers. The startup was introduced after Jugnoo launched a fruits and vegetables delivery service called Fresh in the same year.
