Audi A4 30 TFSI Variant will be Launched in August in India

Audi A4 sedan, the luxury car has been tested, and it was released to the Indian market in te last week of August 2016. The makers have decided to release the petrol variant now. Audi India has recently imported a few models of the new A4 30 TFSI variant into the country just weeks before its launch. The car A4 30 was showcased for the first time at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi.


The German-based car manufacturer based on the new MLB Evo platform that helps to reduce its weight by 120kg than the currently selling A4 models. The current sedan has a length of 4701mm, 1826mm of width and 1427mm of height. The petrol variants will get the four-cylinder 1.4-litre and 2.0-litre TFSI units with a 6-speed manual gearboxin the Indian market. The engine churns out a maximum of 148bhp and develops a peak torque of 250Nm.

The new A4 with a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine capable of churning out 174bhp and 380Nm of peak torque and comes mated to the same 8-speed automatic transmission will be launched in India eventually.

The car will get a new front end with a large hexagonal grill, in-line with Audi’s latest design language, signature matrix LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights, alloy wheels, full TFT touchscreen module cluster. The virtual cockpit will be another attraction of the car.
