Asus has recently announced its all-new 4G LTE tablet in the potential US gizmo market with an affordable price tag of just $249.99. The new device is named as Asus ZenPad Z8, and it will officially be available for purchase from June 23 via Verizon Wireless exclusively.
The world tablet market is continuously growing as the tech savvy people are making the switch from Laptop/PCs to tablets with each passing day. So Asus launching a large HD screen device with most advanced 4G LTE support is quite incidental for sure, as it proves that the company is quite serious to make its mark in this emerging market.
Asus ZenPad Z8 Key Features
First of all the Asus ZenPad Z8 sports a large 7.9-inch QXGA IPS display which has a screen resolution of 2048*1536 pixels. It features 1.4 GHz hexacore Snapdragon 650 processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and the latest Android Marshmallow OS. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can further be expanded by up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.
Asus Zenpad Z8 is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and its OS is enhanced by the support of Asus’s own ZenUI. The device is backed up by a 4,680 non-removable battery which has the capability of providing a huge 13 hours of battery life when completely charged. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera to provide beautiful video calling experience to its users. The device is also equipped with not one but two front-facing stereo speakers with complete DTS-HD audio support. It has USB Type C support, and for connectivity purpose users will be getting 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS etc. The device is quite light indeed as it weighs only 320 gram in total.
