Asus has announced a new budget smartphone called the Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3, in China. Although this one targets the budget smartphone market segment,Zenfone Pegasus 3 is the fourth devicein the Zenfone series. The handset has slight different built compared to its counterparts and comes with an all metal body.
The handset sports a5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720) display.It’s poweredby an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device will be available in two variants, 2GB and 3GB RAM as well as 16GB and 32GB of internal storage. Bothvariantscanbe expandedvia a microSD card. In the Department of the camera, theZenfone Pegasus 3 bears a13MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 5MP front snapper. It runs onAndroid 6.0 Marshmallow with Asus’ Zen UI skinning. The handset supports dual SIM andoffers 4G LTE along with VoLTE. The powerful4,100mAh battery completes the package. As for connectivity, it offers802.11b/g/n, BT 4.0, USB 2.0, GNSS support.

As for the price, the16GB variant costs CNY 1,300 (Rs 13,200 approx) and the 32 GB variants costs CNY 1,500 (Rs 15,000 approx). So far there has been no word on when the device will be available outside of China.
It’s worth mentioning that Asus will be launching the Zenfone 3 series in India, in late June or early July. Just a month back the company unveiled theseriesat the Computex 2016. The series consists of three model –Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the Zenfone 3 Ultra.
