‘Ask Me Grocery’ an on-line grocery shopping web portal has outreached itself by amalgamating with Pune and Nashik-based local business dealers. The step was taken so as to promote local vendors on a national platform.
The small set up business firms include PKM Foods, Asmita Industries, Nice spices Masaale, Special Foods Products, Jay Laxmi Foods Processing, Keshar Agro & Food Products, Ruchkar Foods, Global Express, RMC Marketing Pvt Ltd and Savaria Rice.
According to Ankit Jain, Co-founder of Ask Me Grocery, We believe that local brands and Kirana store owners have a thorough understanding on what sells in a particular locality and therefore, know the right volumes to stock to fulfil that need. Hence, local Kirana stores and brands are the key anchors of our business model.
The grocery generated firm was established in Pune, 2015 and has been successfully approaching the target audience with a growth rate of 50% MoM in last few months. The company provides home delivery facility and accepts all kind of coupons like Sodexo, Ticket Restaurant, etc. The amalgamation has helped in an increase in sales and is confident of outreaching people on a national basis.
The sole motto of the respective company is to collate an ecosystem of local brands including small brands and various Kirana stores in Pune and Nashik. Also, these firms would be able to deliver items within 3 to 4 hours as grocery tends to get stale easily being a biodegradable item. Further delivery will be provided with the help of existing 8 partnered firms along with 24 kirana stores as well as 32 vertical seller mergers. It would strengthen Ask Me Grocery through such partnerships.
