Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is organised by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) every year for the selection of the Primary (Class I to V) and Upper Primary Level ( VI to VIII) Teachers schools of the Uttar Pradesh.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria

The applicant desiring to apply for the UPTET 2018 should satisfy the conditions given below.

Primary Level (Class I to V):

The applicant should have passed Class 12th with min. 50% from a recognised Board.
The applicant should have completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University or should be studying in the final year of D.El.Ed. in an institute recognised by NCTE.
The applicant who is studying in the final year of B.Ed.
The age of the applicant should be in between 18-35 years. The applicant belonging to the reserved categories shall be eligible for the age relaxation as per the Government Rules.

Upper Primary Level (Class VI to VIII):

The applicant should have passed Class 12th with min. 50% from a recognised Board.
The applicant should have completed Graduation/Post Graduation with min. 50% marks in any stream from a recognised University or should be studying in the final year of D.El.Ed. in an institute recognised by NCTE.
The applicant who is studying in the final year of B.Ed.
The age of the applicant should be in between 18-35 years. The applicant belonging to the reserved categories shall be eligible for the age relaxation as per the Government Rules.

UPTET Application Form

The application form of UPTET shall be available in the last week of August 2018 in online mode. The applicant interested in filling the application form should regularly check the website of UPBEB for the updates. The applicant is advised to fill the application form very carefully. The applications with incomplete/incorrect data will be rejected without giving any intimation to the applicant.

Steps to fill the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) Application Form:

The applicant has to visit the website of UPBEB –upbasiceduboard.gov.in/ to register themselves forUttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2018.
Fill the required details such as Applicant Name, Father’s Name, DOB, Caste etc.
Click on the ‘submit’ button. After the successful registration, a registration number will be generated. Note down the registration number for the further use.
Make the payment of theUttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) Registration Fee by using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking or through E-Challan.
Upload the Photo and Signature in the required size and format.
After filling all the details, click on the ‘submit’ button.
Take the printout of the filled in application form and preserve it for the further use.
