Apple WWDC 2017: It has been finally announced when the Worldwide Developers Conference is going to take place this year. Apple made it clear a few hours back regarding all the information related to the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 which has been the biggest platform that brings into light a number of much-awaited electronic gadgets.
The news came in that WWDC 2017 is going to be held on June 5, and the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose has been decided to be the venue for the annual event that is organized by the Cupertino-based tech giant which is at a walking distance from the headquarters of Apple. The event will go one for five days and will be over on June 9.
A number of announcements are expected to be made by Apple during the event, and it includes not only the electronic gadgets but the new software updates as well. Few big announcements that are expected to be made are the latest version of the iOS and the macOS. News and updates have been flowing in for quite a long time now and finally, we will get the opportunity to get some official statement regarding the actual features of the software. It is also expected that Apple will announce the tvOS and watchOS 4 as well in the course of the event.
The press statement, that Apple has given, regarding the new releases that are going to take place in the WWDC 2017 reads, “These Apple technologies inspire developers to continue creating incredible experiences for every aspect of customers’ lives and improve the way they manage their smart homes, cars, health and more for over one billion active Apple devices.”
In 2016, the WWDC was held at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco which saw more than 5000 people coming in. However, regarding the reason behind the shift of the location of the annual event, Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing has remarked that the new venue will “provide a great environment for developers attending the conference.” The tickets for WWDC 2017 will be available from March 27.
