On Monday Apple released the beta versions of iOS 10. The iOS 10 beta 6 for developers was launched to test on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch along with iOS beta 5 for public. The beta versions are tumbling one after the other as Apple is preparing for the launch of the iOS 10 which is likely to happen next month. According to rumors, the OS is supposed to come out with iPhone 7 in the month of September.

With the last developers beta, Apple issued a detailed PDF file on detailing the changes that were to happen. It’s worth noting that the differences between Apple’s recent beta releases have become increasingly minor so you might want to take a look into that. People who have downloaded the beta versions earlier can download the new code as a direct update. And for those developers who haven’t, they need to go to the company’s official Developer portal. For regular public who want to download the beta version for the first time, they need to enroll in the Beta Software Program. The last version of iOS 10 has made mostly cosmetic upgrades.

Apart from iOS, Apple has launched macOS Sierra, the new watchOS and tvOS betas for developers. Some of the new iOS 10 features include redesigned Music and News apps, a redesigned Lock screen and Home screen experience for widgets, the first Home app for HomeKit, tons of iMessage features in Messages, among others. And minor tweaks like AirPlay icon, widget UI tweaks a new lock sound, and an all new Home app wallpaper.

All four operating systems are due to officially debut by the end of this year. Rumour has it that these OS are going to release along with iPhone 7 in September at an event in California. The handset will probably go on sale by September 16.
