Apple has announced the latest additions to their iPhone lines with the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at their launch event in San Francisco earlier today. With two of these latest premium devices, Apple is looking to move beyond the reach of the other smartphones in today’s world. Both these new devices have brought faster processors, new cameras, and some minor visual updates.
With a significant price difference of $120 between the starting prices of both the products, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus features quite a number of differences in terms of specifications. The iPhone 7 Plus, being the more technically superior of the both has an upper hand over the iPhone 7 in terms of Display size( 5.5 inches to 4.7 inches), Resolution( 1920 x 1080 to 1334 x 750) and Battery Life( 13 hours to 12 hours) to name a few.
However, one of the most significant advantages of the iPhone 7 plus is the dual lens camera. The premium device has a 12-megapixel normal lens as well as a 12-megapixel wide lens. The dual camera setup on the back of the iPhone 7 Plus combines two sensors to work as 2x optical zoom similar to the solution offered by LG with its G5 and V20.
