iPhone 7: Less than a month left for the flagship phone to come out, pre-orders for the device has already started. Popular Tipster, Evan Blass, announced on Twitter that iPhone 7 is currently available on pre-order on eBay. The pre-order is expected to begin from September 9. Check out the screengrab of the listing spotted on eBay:
The listing reveals that the handset will be available for $1,600. According to Deccan Chronicle, the device probably costs $1000, and eBay is asking an extra $600 as service charge. It’s being speculated that the pre-order is for people who don’t live in regions where the handset will be immediately available.
Apple iPhone already has a record, where excited fans line up outside Apple stores before the launch. This leads to a rush and, stampede on occasions. Which is why eBay is probably taking this step. Although the pre-orders seem genuine, the images are not original.
For those who don’t know, the iPhone 7 is likely to be launched on September 7. September 13th too is suggested as a viable launch date. The claim is backed by the famous tipster Evan Blass who announced on Twitter that the iPhone 7 is coming out on 13 September. The name of the next iPhone hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, and there are contradictory reports coming in right now. A recent leak has hinted the existence of an image stabilizer in the camera. iPhone 7 may come with 3D Touch Home Button, but no mute switch on either side of the handset, according to a couple of leaked images. Apple normally places the mute switch above the volume buttons; it appears to be missing.
Apple with each generation of the iPhone introduces a new custom-designed SoC, and this year, the Apple A10 is expected. The handset will have some other minor changes too. According to a fresh set of rumors, Apple will discontinue the popular Space Grey color variant and will be offered in Deep Blue or Space Black colors.
