Anushka Sharma is beautifully bold again! This time for her lip job. The story is almost two years old when she appeared in ‘Koffee with Karan’, the famous chat show hosted by Bollywood ‘biggi’ Karan Johar, looking different with a plumped lip. Instantly after the airing of the show, the social media trolled her in every insensitive way possible. She remained calm only answering it was part of her character for a Jazz singer in ‘Bombay Velvet’, she was shooting then. But the criticism and troll showed no sign to stop, and Karan had to intervene to stop that. Since then her life has gone topsy-turvy with excellent performances, her newly launched production house and business ventures, her personal and love life turmoil and what not? And now after a long gap of that incident, she has decided to talk openly about the issue.
She again reached the top trends on social media by her exploding interview for Vogue, where she said:
“I have nothing to hide. So when I spoke about my lip job, a lot of people called me brave for coming out. But I did what I had to (for my role in Bombay Velvet). I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t; I had to take ownership. I wanted fans to know that I’m human and not perfect”
Her fearless attitude is commendable where she showed her guts to talk openly about her physical transformation through surgery. Many of our Bollywood actors and actresses have gone through it but always sceptical to talk about it. But she just flushed out her haters. No doubt Anushka has her ‘hatke’ style to deal with her shortcomings!!!!
Currently, this ‘hotty’ is super busy with her upcoming project Sultan opposite Salman Khan where she is playing the character of a wrestler.
