Here now is…

Questions with Zuzana Varkondova

Fabnewz: Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in this career?

Zuzana: To the people who know me, know that I have worked extremely hard for this moment. As soon as I began my modeling career, I was told by a number of agencies that I was not tall enough and would never be cut out to be a model. I know just how tough this industry can be at times. How it could bring you to your whits end and make you think that maybe you should hang your hat and try something different. But thats not who I am. I love modeling because I can be myself and I can be someone else in
Images and create such beautiful and unique art no matter what my height is.
I want to model because I want to change the way the industry views petite models

FABNEWZ: Tell us about your education: Have you attended fashion modeling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?

ZUZANA: I was going to college to be na anesthesiologist but I decided it wasn’t for me, I didn’t want to be a regular person working a regular job and in debt from student loans and
school. So I decided to give up my college education and pursue my dreams. My mom was my biggest supporter from the beginning because she knows I was destined for greatness.
All my mom wanted, was for me to follow my dreams and become whomever it was that I wanted to be and constantly reminded me that no one could stop you from chasing your dreams but yourself. She knew how bad I wanted to bring this career to light so she helped me pay for acting, modeling, and voice classes. When my mom had me, she put aside her dreams and aspirations to solely focus on me to pursue my goals. All my mom wanted, was for me to follow my dreams and become whomever it was that I wanted to be and constantly reminded me that no one could stop you from chasing your dreams but yourself. FABNEWZ: What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this field?

ZUZANA: My goals as a model is to change the way the industry views petite models.
I am more than just a pretty face and nice body. I have a lot to offer. My love for modeling alone is what makes me go above and beyond at every shoot. I don’t look at this as a competition, I look at it as a chance to be able to change the way women feel about each other.I want to empower other women and congratulate them when they are successful. I want to be able to help others and give to others when no-one else will. I want women to understand that when you really want something and set your goals towards what you want you can get it. No
matter what anyone tells you.

FABNEWZ: Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym?

ZUZANA I eat as healthy as I can but I’ll be honest haha I like to eat good food so I try not to limit myself to much only because I view it as life is to short and I should still be able to enjoy my life and the good food in this world.
I used to eat super super healthy and be on a very strict diet, I also used to work out 6 days a week twice a day. 5 am fasted cardio and afternoon weight training. Now I work out at home and eat healthy but not to healthy

FABNEWZ: State your availability: would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?

ZUZANA: I would be willing to travel as I do now whenever I get paid work out of state or country. I have open availability and I would be willing to work full-time, holidays, part time, and any hours.

FABNEWZ: Tell me about your modeling work.

ZUZANA: Each day I am grateful for what I have in my life and i try to use my positivity to make an impact on others. Modeling has always been the air I breathe and I will work for it for as long as I live. I will make a powerful
impact not only on the way the modeling industry views petite models, but also on how all women view themselves.
I want women to know that we are in this together and if we don’t empower each other and support each other than we aren’t making an impact. My modeling work is an inspiration to all women and men no matter what size shape or form you come in. I create the work I do to inspire others and to be able to prove that anything is possible.

FABNEWZ: What is your greatest strength?

ZUZANA: My greatest strength is my confidence and positive mindset. I never let anything get in the way of what I love and what I want to do in my life. I have my goals and priorities set and I am not afraid of any obstacles I may come across.

FABNEWZ: What are your greatest accomplishments so far?

ZUZANA: My greatest accomplishments are being published more times then I can count on both hands and being able to travel the
world and meet new people and inspire thousands of people along the way.

FABNEWZ: Are you up for new challenges?

ZUZANA: I am always up for now challengers nothing scares me.

FABNEWZ: What was your most difficult pose? Why did you need this pose for the shoot?

ZUZANA: I would say all poses are difficult, it’s not easy being a model and it’s certainly not what everyone makes it out to be. It’s not as easy as looking pretty and taking pictures there’s so much more to it.
There’s an art to it. A behind the scenes toughness that nobody knows about. The majority of people just think it’s pictures and bikinis, Warm weather and beautiful locations. But they don’t understand the hours and hard work that comes with it. Like keeping your composure in 10 degree weather making sure that you get the right look.

FABNEWZ: What is the biggest challenge to maintaining your beautiful figure?

ZUZANA: Honestly the biggest challenge to maintaining a good
Figure is pleasing everyone else around you, everyone has such high expectations for what they think a
model or even a women should look like and that’s the problem with society we are pushed to be something that we aren’t. If we want to eat a crazy amount of food we should be able to, if we don’t want to exercise we shouldn’t have to, if we want to wear no makeup we shouldn’t get judged for it, there’s so many wants from others that the
Expectations are never met.

FABNEWZ: Is there anything that makes you angry?

ZUZANA: I don’t get angry very easily I am a very open and outgoing and positive minded person. But a pet peeve I have is when people say “your so skinny you don’t have to eat healthy or workout” I am skinny but I wasn’t born with muscles I had to work for them and if it was that easy then everyone would be a model.

FABNEWZ: What’s your favorite band?

ZUZANA: I don’t really have a favorite band I listen to all kinds of genres of music and I think every artist is equally unique and creative.

FABNEWZ: Do you have a favorite TV show?

ZUZANA: I have a few favorite tv shows but my absolute
favorite tv show is called criminal minds.

FABNEWZ: What gets you started in the morning?

ZUZANA: In the morning I wake up and drink some water, take my vitamins, listen to music, and eat some breakfast. The music helps me wake up and gets me through the day.

FABNEWZ: Do you have a life motto?

ZUZANA: I have two life mottos, the first one is “with faith comes hope” and the second one is “everything happens for a reason”

FABNEWZ: Tell us about your very first photoshoot?

ZUZANA: My very first photoshoot felt so natural I still had so much to learn but I already felt like a pro! It came so naturally to me and I wasn’t even nervous or scared at all it felt just like a normal day except better. My first shoot was for a magazine publication and we ended having the images published in multiple magazines.

FABNEWZ: Do you find yourself biting your tongue when people say nasty comments on Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms, or are you able to easily brush them off?

ZUZANA: Actually no I do not bite my tongue I always speak how I feel and if someone says something rude which almost never happens. I respond back
with kindness because there’s no reason to stoop down to a negative persons level. I say something kind such as ” I’m sorry you don’t appreciate my love for art and it isn’t your taste, please don’t leave negative comments on my page because it’s not nice to be an internet bully” then I block them and that’s it

FABNEWZ: And finally, what’s your best pick-up line?

ZUZANA: I don’t really have any pick up lines I don’t feel a need for them. I am always just myself and never try to be anything I’m not. I am very straight forward, honest, and humble.
