Alcatel Pixi 4 Launches With 8-Megapixel Camera in India for Rs 4,999

Alcatel Pixi 4: Back in January at the CES 2016, Alcatel unveiled the Alcatel Pixi 4 in 7-inch, 6-inch, and 4-inch variants. They have launched now the 5-inch Pixi 4 with four colour options (Metal Gold, Metal Silver, Volcano Black and Sharp Blue) for the Indian market. It’ll be exclusively available on Flipkart at Rs 4,999.

The Alcatel Pixi 4 is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) device with 4G support. It sports a 5.00-inch display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels. The handset will be powered by 1GHz MediaTek MTK6735M processor. It’ll have 1GB of RAM with 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSd card. Speaking of the camera, Alcatel Pixi 4 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. Alcatel claims that the camera adds dimension with exclusive Polaroid filters that allow users to make collages, borders, add effects, texts and etc. The company also promises excellent music experiences with the help of Arkamys optimised speakers.

The handset measures 140.70 x 72.50 x 9.50 and weighs 169.00 gm. It runs Android 6.0 and is backed by a 2000mAh removable battery. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, FM, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) and the sensors on the phone include Proximity sensors.
