Now, Ajay Devgan is all set to venture into the Marathi film industry. The interesting thing is that the actor would be joining and collaborating with Nana Patekar for his Marathi film, titled Aapla Manus. Ajay Devgan took to Twitter to make the announcement that he would be stepping into the Marathi film industry.Alongside the video, Ajay wrote, “Happy to announce my first ever Marathi film venture—Aapla Manus, releasing on 9 February, 2018.”

In the video that he posted alongside the tweet, Ajay Devgan talks about completing 25 years in the industry, and even after all these years, his equation with his audience has never changed. He also added that his bond with Maharashtra has always been strong since he was born and he has always loved the Marathi language. He said that his love for the Marathi language and the culture of Maharashtra has increased ever since his marriage to Kajol. Meanwhile, there are speculations that the movie, Aapla Manus, will be directed by Satish Rajwade. This is because Ajay tagged the Marathi director in his tweet. Aapla Manus also starsSumeet Raghavan and Irawati Harshe in vital roles and is slated to release on February 9, 2018.
“I have completed 25 years in the film industry. Every time I have done a new film and a new character but the relationship with you all is still the same,” Ajay said in the video. “Similarly, I have a relation with Maharashtra since my birth. I have always had respect for Marathi language but after marrying Kajol, I got in love with the language.Because of this culture, Marathi cinema has its own following.
