Call drop is a hot cake right now and TRAI is tightening the noose and directs all the telecom operators to install more towers to improve call quality. A clash began when TRAI ask for the power of putting penalties for call drop on every company.
After getting rejected from Supreme Court and Ministry of Telecom, TRAI tightened its stands. Airtel has started an initiative to aware users. With Airtel Open network anyone can see the network coverage of the operator through the “My Airtel” app quickly. These all are being implemented just because of the ongoing tussle over “call drop” issue. This situation becomes worse when TRAI tested drop call percentage where almost all telecom operator failed.
…global experts is working on it and will resolve the issue soon. There is no impact on our voice services. 3/3

What is Airtel Open Network
Now, the question comes, what is Airtel open network?? Every Airtel users can install the official “My Airtel” app from Google Play or Apple store at free of cost. There you can find a map of the neighboring areas and can see the network coverage- where the network is strong and where it is weak.
When you pin your location or the destination you are going, it will display full details of the network- Voice and data quality. So check yours now and feedback through the app.
If you are using an Airtel connection, get into the app using the number you are using. A detailed map will come up and show you where the network is best for voice and data quality.
Voice call quality excellent means there is minimum chance od getting out of the network due to call drop and where it’s not so good, you may have to take extra effort to stay connected for a long time without interruptions.
