The songs of the movie have been creating quite a stir among fans of Ranbir, Aishwarya, Anushka and Fawad alike as the songs released previously gave quite a vivid idea of the emotional mood and setup on the movie and ADHM enthusiasts just can’t seem to hold their horses till the theatrical release of the movie. Music director Pritam isin charge of the music score of the movie and it seems that he has already delivered with the title track of the same name and ‘Buleya’ garnered a huge amount of positive criticism among fans and music enthusiasts.
“Channa Mereya” , the third and latest song released from the ADHM tracksung by Arijit Singh is a Punjabi track which revolves completely around Ranbir and Anushka’s side of the story in the movie revolving around their lives. IThe scene shows Anushka Sharma’s character Alizeh getting married. Dressed in sumptuous gold and red, Anushka looks gorgeous with Ranbir Kapoor, dressed in fine traditional wear as well. Maybe weirdlyenough, Ranbir had Mehandi on his hands. The song talks of heartbreak and portrays that unbearable pain when your friendship turns into love but not that of the one you love. The emotions in the song put in through Ranbir’s acting and Arijit Singh’s soulful voice inflicts the pain in him having to watch her get married to someone else when she is the one he is in love with.
Penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, “Channa Mereya” is reportedly Karan Johar’s favourite track in the movie. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will probably be thereason for an enormous amount of footfall in movie theatres on the Diwali weekend when the movie hits the silver screen on October 28 later this year.
