AAP Gets Rs. 38.56 Crore Fund Collections – The Second Highest

The Aam Aadmi Party that is just two elections old and is presently ruling Delhi, has become the party to get the largest amount of fund collected and spent. The Aam Aadmi Party has received as huge amount as Rs. 38.56 crore as fund collect and has spent Rs. 22.66 crore on the needs of the party solely. Before the Muffler Man Arvind Kejriwal came to power in the year 2013, he was heard to speak on the corruption issues and that the politicians were all rich and corrupt. Now questions are being raised against his party regarding the same.

The party that takes the lead in this case is the Samajwadi Party with Rs 186.8 crore collection and Rs 90.09 crore expenditure. Now coming to the issues of the AAP, the party has contested only two State Legislative Assembly elections,, during which, the funds collected are mainly through cheques. The amount was Rs 1244.86 crore.

The ADR reports that show the details of the money spent and collected while and for elections by the regional parties say that, SP, AAP, AIADMK, BJD and SAD together collected Rs 267.14 crore, which is the 62% of the total amount declared by all the regional parties during and for the Lok Sabha Elections.

There are provisions regarding the fact that a regional political party should not make expenditure more than Rs. 20,000 in cash, but for expenditure in kinds and forms, there is no provision. So, the limit stated generally crosses.
