A 23-year old Bihari boy has been arrested by the Juhu Police on Sunday for trespassing into Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow, Jalsa. Identifying himself as Bullet Banwarilal Yadav, the resident of Pune, tried to sneak in at Big B’s bungalow to flaunt his singing skills to the superstar.
The incident took place on Sunday afternoon when the fans and well-wishers gathered to catch a glimpse of Mr. Bachchan. While fans were waiting outside Jalsa, Yadav, who tried to meet Big B for five days started climbing the compound wall. Mr. Bachchan’s cook first saw the accused scaling up the wall and immediately called the security and also notified the police.
Although Bullet did not have any malicious intention, Juhu Police arrested Yadav under the Indian Penal Code section 447 for house trespassing. After interrogation, police said, Banwarilal, a resident of Nehru Nagar of Pune is a massive fan of the Bollywood superstar and wanted to show him the script of a Bhojpuri song as well as wished to sing the song before him.
Juhu Police will produce Yadav in court today. Big B has not commented anything regarding this matter. The incident is very much similar to scenes portrayed in the movie Fan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, in which the superstar’s fan tried to trespass into his bungalow and succeeded eventually.
