Ford Mustang is one of the most popular cars of Ford. Originally based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon this compact car was followed by spy photo shots in a nearby Ford plant in Michigan recently. This densely camouflaged car 2018 that is being assumed as a Ford Mustang. The car originated in 1965 and since then has gone through sixteen up-gradation. The 2017 Mustang and 2018 are almost the same.
Though most of the details of the 2018 Ford Mustang are unknown yet but the spy shots are enough to satisfy the appetite of avid Mustang fans. With LED-ringed head lights that covered, the car is flaunting its slightly redesigned bumper and it is more distinct. The more aggressively modified front grille is another important feature of this car. 2018 Ford Mustang is also on the card to get the new extra ten-speed automatic transmission. The extensive mechanical upgrade will come in the form of the Ford 10R80 10-Speed Automatic which is co-developed with GM and installed on the F-150 Raptor and Camaro ZL1. The 10r80 promises to improve fuel efficiency that is already measured at 21 miles per gallon in the in city and 30 on the freeway and faster uplift pace than Porsche’s PDK.
There is no current news of which versions of the Mustang might get the new upgradation. Currently, Ford is offering the model with four, six, or eight cylinders. All versions currently come standard with a six-speed manual transmission and (save for the Shelby GT350 and GT350R) are offered with an optional six-speed automatic. As far as the inside of Ford Mustang is concerned the pictures do not show much.
The sixteenth generation started its production in July 2014 for 2015.
