And the confessions she recently made are yet another proof that nobody has it easy in life and that we all go through unspoken struggles in life before we make it big. Parineeti confessed in front of the media that her parents are the reason behind some of the many humiliations she faced in life at an earlier stage…. Parineeti Chopra came to attend the ‘Women Self Defence Graduation Day’ event in Mumbai, along with Akshay Kumar. It was during this event that she turned emotional and began talking to the fresh graduates about life, lifestyle and how they should not take anything for granted. She said, “Since we did not have enough money, I used to cycle my way to the school as we did not have the money to buy a car. My father used to be on his cycle at a few steps away from me only to ensure that none of the boys tease me or rag me. There used to be time when the boys used to tease me and even try to lift my skirt up. I always used to hate my parents for sending me to school on a cycle, to which they used to reply that they wanted me to be strong.” Post this heartfelt revelation, she concluded, saying, “I am happy that Akshay Sir is not charging any money from you for teaching and also the fact that you all don’t have to wear a uniform. Thank yourselves for graduating today. You all have all the facilities which i did not ever have. So, make the most use of it. I hope no untoward situation ever come in your life and even if it comes, just face it with one punch! Make use of everything that had been taught to you here. Go, kick some A**.
