Akshay Kumar has just finished one of his project, Padman, which is a film adaptation of a story from his wife Twinkle Khanna’s book, The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad. Whereas, this Friday Shraddha Kapoor-Arjun Kapoor-starrer Half Girlfriend is set for release which is again based on a book by Chetan Bhagat. It is Challenging:It is really challenging to make a movie on a literary piece as you need to be extra cautious to do the justice with the story. “It’s not easy to summarize a book into a two-hour film, so you have to pick and choose,” says Half Girlfriend director Mohit Suri. “There is a lot that you need to edit while making sure all the essential points are not lost. It’s like hundreds of people have read the script beforehand. So, you can never know who loved what part from the book.” He added.
