And now that we are closing in on the release date of the Galaxy S8, the web has gone wild over an image of the upcoming smartphone, shared by none other than reputed leak-master Evan Blass via Twitter. I think this is what you've been waiting for. pic.twitter.com/FvYfsLOy0R — Evan Blass (@evleaks) March 1, 2017 The picture that Blass unveiled shows off the highly anticipated smartphone’s beautiful display along with minimal bezels, which happens to be the latest trend in mobile designs right now. But of course, the public’s curiosity was piqued in effect, and we began craving for more. Now, as it turns out, another source has got their hands on a few images that depict a working Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone in all its glory. In the detailed photos unveiled by BGR, the smartphone has been clicked from all possible angles. So we can get a good look at not just its curved display, small bezels, and the buttons on the sides, but also its different ports and audio outlets. The publication also points out that this is the smaller of the two Samsung Galaxy S8s with a 5.8-inch display that is being shown off. Image Courtesy: BGR There is little doubt about the fact that the new Galaxy S8 is the smartphone that everyone is looking forward to the most this year, at least as far as releases in the first half of 2017 go. Reports suggest that the Galaxy S8 and its larger sibling, the Galaxy S8 Plus, are slated for a late March announcement, and the model in Blass’s image clearly has the date “March 29” on the screen. These phones are special because they will be Samsung’s first high-end launch after last year’s Note 7 fiasco. So we all know that the new Galaxy S series devices will be packed to the rafters with some innovative new features. Cou;d this be the Bixby button on the Galaxy S8? Among them, one of the most remarkable could be the addition of an AI companion, speculated to be called Bixby. It is worthy of note that we can clearly see three buttons on the side of the renders and leaked images. This has invited speculation that one of these could be a dedicated “Bixby Button,” with the other two being the volume rocker and display-power buttons. Other things to expect from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and its 6.2-inch variant are a Snapdragon 835 processor (with an Exynos equivalent in some countries), 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Some juicy details about the Galaxy S8’s prices have also been leaked which point towards a more expensive device than the earlier models in the lineup. But with all that Samsung is bringing in, it will likely be well worth it.
